Portland Flea-for-All moving on up from West Bayside
A 10,000-square-foot space in downtown Portland that was the home to Paul’s Food Center for 40 years will be the new home of the Portland Flea-for-All.
The decision for the Flea-for-All to move from its location at 125 Kennebec St. in Portland’s West Bayside neighborhood, where it has been since 2012, to the 585 Congress St. location, has been a longtime goal of the company’s owners, according to the Bangor Daily News.
“It’s been our dream to be part of the arts district since we opened. We’ve loved our time in Bayside and it’s allowed us the space and time to grow our business in a beautiful, historic building,” Erin Kiley, who owns the Flea-for-All with her husband, Nathaniel Baldwin, told the BDN. “Now we can start a new chapter among some of our small business and arts community heroes like the Portland Museum of Art and State Theatre.”
The BDN reports that a fall opening is planned for the new location. According to a post by the company on its Facebook page, Flea-for-All’s last day at its current location will be July 3.
