$37M in construction at Colby College

Around $37 million in construction projects are under way at Colby College, providing work for three Maine contractors.

The Kennebec Journal reported that the work in progress includes construction of an $18.6 million science building, led by Winthrop-based HP Cummings Construction Co.; a $15 million museum renovation led by Portland-based Consigli Construction; and a $3.6 million storage building expansion led by Brunswick-based Oulett Associates Inc.

The work to expand and renovate campus facilities is set to finish in 2014, the paper reported.
