Air Force passes on BNAS

The Brunswick Naval Air Station is no longer in the running to be the headquarters for an elite group of computer specialists to guard the country from cybercrime.

The U.S. Air Force was considering 56 bases nationwide as the future headquarters for the Air Force Cyber Command. However, BNAS didn't make the cut to the next round of 18 bases, an Air Force spokesman told The Times Record.
