Husson partners with Hollywood Casino for MBA program
Students in Husson University’s master of business administration program will now have the choice to go to class on campus or at the casino.
Husson University and Hollywood Casino, Hotel and Raceway have signed an agreement that will allow the university’s MBA students to get hands-on management experience and academic credit through work at the casino and hotel.
The new agreement will also allow casino employees enrolled in the MBA program to take courses online, which the college says will allow students to balance work and school priorities more adeptly.
Lee Speronis, director of the university’s School of Hospitality, Sport and Tourism management, said in a press release that many of the casino’s top management positions have been filled by Husson graduates.
