Kennebunk Savings Insurance has appointed Mark Ross as its director of insurance operations.
In the newly created position, Ross will manage policies and procedures and facilitate the hiring, training and management of staff. He'll also be responsible for creating a strong culture and positive team environment.
Kennebunk Savings Insurance, a subsidiary of Kennebunk Savings founded in 1974, is a property and casualty agency providing personal and commercial line coverage options in Maine and coastal New Hampshire.
Ross, who joined Kennebunk Savings Bank in 2008, most recently held the position of vice president, retail experience manager at Kennebunk Savings Bank. He has also served as a branch manager, retail market manager, financial service specialist and financial advisor.
“Mark brings a lot of energy, enthusiasm and knowledge to Kennebunk Savings Insurance,” said Danny Edgecomb, president of Kennebunk Savings Insurance.
“His experience in project management, regulatory compliance, leadership skills and promoting Kennebunk Savings’ culture made him a natural fit for the position.”
The Kennebunk native and resident received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Maine.
Ross is an active member of the Kennebunk Rotary, has served as treasurer for the Kennebunk-Kennebunkport-Arundel Chamber of Commerce and the Brick Store Museum, and was vice president of the Kennebunk Lacrosse Club.
