RED Day is Keller Williams Realty’s annual day of service.

Since May 2009, the entire company — from the U.S. to Canada to offices abroad — sets aside the second Thursday of May to serve local communities.

KW Maine has devoted RED Day support to nonprofit organizations such as Furniture Friends, Camp Sunshine, Camp Ketcha, Camp Connor, Togus VA Center, Androscoggin Home Healthcare + Hospice, Wayside Food Programs and Sweetser.

This year, associates again fanned out across the state to help those in need. Janice Ryder donated her time again this year to organizing the statewide effort.

This year’s annual day of service was  May 9 and had over 130 agents at 10 different venues across the state: Auburn, Belfast, Raymond, Cape Elizabeth, Damariscotta, Portland, Saco, Sanford and Augusta.

Keller Williams Realty Greater Portland, at 50 Sewall St. in Portland, was established in 2003. With over a dozen locations across Maine and over 530 associates, it is the largest real estate brokerage in Maine. The franchise, which is independently owned and operated, served more than 4,000 Maine families in 2023.
