Scarborough-based Landry/French Construction is marking its 15th anniversary this month. Founded in 2010 by Kevin French and Denis Landry, the company has become a nationally recognized, 100% employee-owned firm with a staff of 120.

Over the past 15 years, Landry/French has delivered projects across a wide range of industries including healthcare, education, commercial, municipal, and housing, many of which have earned regional and national awards for excellence.

Projects have included Portland’s 18-story Casco apartment building — which is Maine’s tallest building — and the Rock Row Health Campus, an integrated medical facility in Westbrook.

The company became 100% employee-owned in 2016, and in 2024 expanded into the southeast with the acquisition of Florida-based MH Williams Construction Group.

Since its founding, Landry/French has been named to both Inc. Magazine's 5,000 list of Fastest Growing Companies three times and to Engineering News Record’s Top 400 Contractors nationally.

French and Landry were recognized as Mainebiz’s Business Leaders of the Year in 2021 and the company was cited as one of the Best Places to Work in Maine for 10 consecutive years.

“Our success has always been rooted in people—our employees, our clients, and our partners,” said Kevin French, CEO. “This milestone is not just a reflection of the buildings we’ve constructed, but of the trust we’ve built along the way.”
