Large company coming to Rockland

A financial services company is expected to sign a lease this week with the owners of the former MBNA facility in Rockland to occupy the entire facility, which can accommodate as many as 400 people, sources told Mainebiz this morning.

The deal has not been made public, but a source close to the deal says the company is a financial services firm that would use the two-story facility for its back-office operations.

Matthew Levin, property manager for the Rockland Harbor Park Center, confirmed this morning that all current tenants at the Center have been told to vacate the building by June 1 to accommodate the unnamed company. Mainebiz currently has a satellite office in the 77,000-square-foot facility.
