Legislature raises min. wage
Maine's House and Senate approved a bill Tuesday that raises the minimum wage from $7 to $7.50 by 2009.
LD 1697, sponsored by Sen. Ethan Strimling (D-Portland), now awaits Gov. John Baldacci's signature.
