L.L.Bean taps Olympian Seth Wescott as brand ambassador
Snowboard champion Seth Wescott has agreed to be L.L.Bean's brand ambassador and help the outdoor retail giant develop outerwear product designs and conduct product testing.
The company announced today that it has signed a three-year contract with Wescott, who will also make appearances on behalf of L.L.Bean as the company celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2012.
Wescott, who grew up in Farmington, won the Olympic gold in the snowboarding cross event in 2006 and 2010, and is a three-time U.S. National Champion, nine-time Winter X Games medalist and four-time World Championships medalist, according to L.L.Bean. His sponsors include Bern, Bolle, L.L.Bean, Norway Savings Bank, Points North Heli, Sprint, Sugarloaf and VISA.
