Nominate a 2019 Mainebiz Next honoree by Aug. 23

Every year, the Mainebiz Next list recognizes 10 dynamic individuals who are changing Maine's economy and blazing a trail in the corporate and nonprofit sectors.
Who should be recognized as this year's movers and shakers?
Nominations are open through Friday, Aug. 23, so submit your nomination online today.
To be considered, nominees must meet the following criteria:
- Be a business owner, CEO, founder, executive, entrepreneur or business leader;
- Has demonstrated forward thinking and an innovative approach to his or her work;
- Be a positive motivator and influencer of change; and
- Demonstrates an innovative approach to problem-solving while encountering obstacles or barriers.
Those who are chosen will be notified about two weeks after the nomination period closes.
All honorees will be profiled in the Sept. 30 print edition of Mainebiz and online, and feted at an event at Aura in Portland on Nov. 14.
