Culture/Company Benefits: On Team Hancock we encourage leadership at every position. We strive to create a workplace where all employees feel empowered, respected, and listened to–fostering a culture where ‘Everybody Leads’ and a place that’s truly a ‘Best Place to Work’. Our company also offers a competitive and inclusive benefits package from insurance and 401k plans to performance-based bonus plans for every employee.

Community engagement: Deeply embedded in our culture is stewardship, and we firmly believe in giving back and leaving things in better shape than when we assumed responsibility for them. We connect with organizations in our communities supporting them financially, with material donations, and with the gift of time and service.

Sustainability: In our 170+ year company history, we’ve only experienced two eastern white pine harvest cycles. It takes 80 -100 years before pine trees are ready to harvest, making our business a long-term commitment. Our sawmills run with zero-waste of raw materials, with 100% of the log fiber utilized. Sawdust by-products from our milling operations are also used in place of fossil fuels, and we generate power through turbines that utilize otherwise wasted steam from our dry kilns. Our team is also able to source and supply FSC Certified products, along with building materials that meet the rigorous Living Building Challenge requirements.
