Maine Children’s Trust priorities are to:
• Sustain, strengthen, and expand the capacity of programming and staff in support of children, families, and communities across Maine.
• Elevate messaging about the need to focus on the well-being of children and their families to create and guide positive changes in policies and practices.
• Promote effective strategies to prevent child maltreatment and strengthen families and communities.
Maine Children’s Trust has opportunities to support children, families, and programs in every county in Maine. Donate to local Community Baby Showers through our annual Tax Check-Off in April 2026, donate during Giving Tuesday on Dec. 2, 2025 or sponsor one of Maine Children’s Trust’s many statewide events, trainings, or initiatives!
We offer various giving opportunities to support Maine Children’s Trust. Our annual appeal provides a chance to contribute directly to our programs. Businesses can also engage through sponsorships for our initiatives, including our Community Baby Showers, which welcomes our newest community members.
We also welcome honorarium and memorial gifts, offering a meaningful way to honor loved ones while supporting our mission. Additionally, many companies offer corporate matching programs, which can double the impact of your donation.
We are seeking support from the business community in the form of monetary contributions, in-kind donations of essential baby items, and partnerships that help us expand our reach and services to families across Maine. Your support helps us provide support to children, families, and communities!
We invite you to volunteer with Maine Children’s Trust. You can help us by assisting with diaper and baby drives, and by supporting the distribution of materials and resources to families throughout Maine.
Additionally, we can connect you with local programs that offer community events, programs, and other efforts in your area.
