We are committed to expanding access to justice and supporting social justice efforts throughout Maine. The Foundation provides critical funding to civil legal aid programs to ensure that all Maine people, regardless of income, can access the legal help they need. We also fund Maine-based nonprofit organizations working to advance fairness and justice across all areas of Maine society in crucial areas such as the legal system, health care, education, the workplace, food insecurity, natural resources, and housing.
Financial Contributions: Your gift to the Maine Justice Foundation helps ensure access to fairness and justice for low-income and vulnerable people across Maine. We gratefully accept both unrestricted donations and gifts designated to one of our existing funds. There are many ways to give: becoming a monthly or other recurring donor, recommending a gift through your donor advised fund, making a bequest through your will or trust, joining our Fairness & Justice Alliance, or becoming a corporate sponsor. Every contribution helps advance fairness and justice throughout Maine.
Fairness & Justice Alliance: Become a member of this dynamic and inclusive group that champions fairness in all aspects of Maine life. https://justicemaine.org/grants-and-programs/fairness-and-justice-alliance/

It’s easy, flexible, and ensures your support continues year-round. Even a modest monthly gift adds up to a meaningful impact over time, helping more people access legal aid, housing, safety, and stability. https://justicemaine.org/donate/
Support an Established Fund: Support one of our established funds to direct your gift toward key justice initiatives across Maine. One-time and recurring gifts are welcome. Explore available funds and programs at https://justicemaine.org/grants-and-programs/.
