Audio Snapshot: Orange Bike Brewing rolls out welcome for older customers

In a state known for craft beer, Orange Bike Brewing in Portland aims to stand out from the crowd. Not just for being gluten-free, although that’s still pretty rare in Maine and nationwide. It’s also rare for bars to cater to older drinkers or employ older bartenders.

Orange Bike Brewing aims to do all of this.

A few weeks before Orange Bike's opening day on Nov. 18, as benches were being built and beer was already brewing, I sat down with founder Tom Ruff and Caroline Cutter, operations manager, to see what’s up.
