Blaze rages on at paper warehouse

Firefighters continued Thursday night to battle a stubborn fire at a Paris warehouse that caused millions of dollars in damages. The fire began Wednesday afternoon at New England Public Warehouse Logistics, which housed $10 million worth of paper pulp destined for Maine mills from Canada, the Sun Journal reported. Welders were repairing the roof of the $3.1 million facility when the fire broke out. No injuries were reported.

The company has six warehouses in Maine for materials transported by train and truck through New England and eastern Canada, according to the Portland Press Herald.
