Explosion rocks E. Boothbay tugboat builder

An explosion Friday morning set fire to Washburn & Doughty Associates' boatyard in East Boothbay, according to MaineToday.com.

All 85 employees were evacuated from the building, which police said was "fully involved," according to the website. There are two tugboats under construction at the facility.

The cause of the explosion is still unknown. None of the employees were injured. Bruce Washburn, one of the business' owners, told MaineToday.com that the boatyard is insured.
