Gone but not forgotten: Remembering Mainers who died in 2021

The end of a year is typically a time to remember lives lost over the preceding months, and sadly there were many such memorable Mainers in 2021. Some are listed below, including several whose deaths Mainebiz reported.

  • Lloyd Robinson, prominent real estate developer in Kennebunk area
  • Thomas Smaha, owner of Smaha’s Legion Square Market in South Portland
  • George Smith, conservation advocate, head of the Sportsman's Alliance of Maine
  • Dylan Webber, Maine brewmaster and craft brewing industry pioneer
