Gray fabricator gets $350K USDA loan

Bruns Bros. Inc., a fabricator of stainless steel process equipment in Gray, has received a $350,000 loan guarantee through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development program.

The company plans to use the loan issued by Androscoggin Savings Bank for refinancing that will help it plan for future capital improvements, potential expansions and product development, according to a USDA press release. The company, which designs and installs custom stainless steel food, beverage and pharmaceutical processing equipment, has around 500 clients in New England and Pennsylvania, including Oakhurst Dairy, HP Hood and Poland Springs.
