Maine Savings FCU names vice president of communications

Maine Savings Federal Credit Union has promoted Steve Gray to the role of vice president of communications.

Gray joined Maine Savings in 2021 as the digital marketing director, bringing a decade of experience in marketing from a local auto group.

"Before joining Maine Savings, I spent ten years at Darling's Auto Group, working in their marketing department, where I handled a wide array of responsibilities, including digital advertising, social media management, graphic design, photography and videography," Gray told Mainebiz.

"Prior to that, I was a self-employed professional photographer; I'm really happy to have found a home at Maine Savings, where I’m proud to be part of a company that truly reflects my personal values," he continued. "I'm looking forward to growing in this new role and continuing to contribute to the innovative and community-centered work we do here."

He serves on the leadership committee for Champion the Cure Challenge, participates in the Maine Credit Union League's Social Responsibility Committee and is involved in several internal committees at Maine Savings.

“Steve’s dedication to Maine Savings and our community is truly remarkable,” said Vanessa Madore, president and CEO of Maine Savings. “He has a unique ability to connect with both our members and our team, and we are confident that he will help lead Maine Savings forward in this new role. His promotion is well deserved, and we are excited for what the future holds.”
