Maine Savings Federal Credit Union has promoted Amanda Gray to vice president of digital services.

In her new role, Gray will oversee the Hampden-based credit union’s digital platform strategy. She had served as assistant vice president of the credit union's member service center since 2018.

“Amanda has an incredible ability to connect the dots between technology, people and purpose,” said Jeff Charland, chief experience officer of Maine Savings. “Her leadership ensures that as we innovate, we do so with empathy, supporting both our tech-savvy members and those who still want to pick up the phone and speak with someone who truly listens.”

Gray received her bachelor's degree in psychology and her MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. She is also a certified credit union financial counselor.

Maine Savings, led by President and CEO Vanessa Madore, was founded in 1961. It is owned by more than 35,000 members and employs 140 people.

In April, it opened a third branch in Bangor. Besides Hampden and the Queen City, the credit union has branches in Bar Harbor, Brewer, Corinth, Ellsworth, Milo, North Vassalboro, Old Town and Portland.

With assets of $792.7 million as of Sept. 30, 2024, Maine Savings was ranked No. 2 among the largest Maine-based credit unions in the 2025 Mainebiz Book of Lists.
