Mass. consulting firm to create 200 jobs at new Waterville location
A consulting firm based in Massachusetts plans to open a location in Waterville at the start of next year that will eventually create 200 jobs.
Collaborative Consulting, the Burlington, Mass., firm, announced the plan Wednesday morning in partnership with the state of Maine and Colby College.
The facility will be located in Waterville’s Hathaway Creative Center and will provide clients with digital and data solutions for their business strategies and goals, the company said. The center is expected to open in January with 20 employees.
Officials with Collaborative Consulting said they were attracted by Colby College’s effort to partner with the city and community organizations to bring economic and cultural vitality to the area. The Waterville college has recently made investments in the city’s downtown, purchasing four buildings in the last five months.
