Sebago Technics, an employee-owned engineering firm based in South Portland, has promoted Jacob Bartlett to regional manager for Sanford and York County.
As regional manager, Bartlett will oversee operations in the area, including survey project management, staff scheduling and regional project coordination.
Bartlett, who has over 12 years of experience, joined Sebago Technics in August 2016 as a project surveyor and was promoted to surveying and data capture director in 2022.
“Jacob's dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment to our clients have been invaluable,” said Mark Adams, president and CEO of Sebago Technics.
“We have great confidence in his ability to drive success in the York County/Seacoast [New Hampshire] region. Jacob's leadership will undoubtedly propel our team to new heights, and we eagerly anticipate his continued contributions to Sebago Technics."
Before his employment at Sebago Technics, he worked for Sanford-based company Corner Post Land Surveying, acquired by Sebago Technics in 2022, on various survey assignments involving private, municipal, state and federal clients.
The firm said this appointment marks milestones in its regional expansion efforts, solidifying the transition following the Corner Post Land Surveying acquisition in 2022.
“Drawing on my extensive experience, including my time at Corner Post Land Surveying, I'm poised to bring a wealth of project expertise and established client connections to serve the southern Maine region, strengthening Corner Post's esteemed reputation in the development community,” said Bartlett.
Bartlett received a bachelor’s degree in surveying engineering technology from the University of Maine, with minors in construction management technology and engineering entrepreneurship.
Sebago Technics is a collective of more than 110 design professionals and technical staff in offices located in South Portland, Bridgton and Springvale. Services include geomatics, surveying, landscape architecture, 3-D modeling, environmental sciences, permitting, land planning, transportation and traffic engineering.
Sebago Technics is ranked No. 7 among Maine’s largest engineering firms in the 2023 Mainebiz Book of Lists, based on the firm's number of Maine-licensed engineers, 18.
