Aroostook County Action Program (ACAP)

ACAP provides workforce development support through the federal program, Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA). This legislation is designed to help youth, adults and dislocated workers with barriers to employment. Services include counseling, on-the-job training and work-based learning. Eastern Maine Development Corporation (EMDC)

A member of the American Job Center Network, EMDC provides career counseling, workshops, education, training and more. In addition, workforce services are provided to people and businesses in Androscoggin, Franklin, Hancock, Kennebec, Oxford, Penobscot, Piscataquis, Somerset and Washington Counties through partnerships with the Central Western Maine Workforce Development Board and Northeastern Workforce Development Board.
