More Information

Passion project: Being the Maine State Captain for RESOLVE in Washington, D.C., where we advocate for pro-family legislation at the federal level. I am also a member of the RESOLVE New England’s Advocacy Committee. Last year we organized support in Maine for the recently enacted LD 1539: An Act to Provide Access to Fertility Care. I will continue to advocate for legislative change that enables everyone who desires to have children to be able to access reproductive care, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation or marital status.

Audacious goal: Be a judge. Write a book. Change the world.

Favorite quote: “Be heard. Sing your song. If that is what is inside of you, sing your damn song. Do your soul that favor.” — Cleo Wade

Influential book: “The Family Roe,” by Joshua Prager, and “Lessons in Chemistry,” by Bonnie Garmus.

Favorite movies/TV shows: All the “Batman” movies. “Arrested Development,” “Fleabag,” “Ru Paul’s Drag Race,” “Game of Thrones,” “Sopranos”

How do you recharge: My daughters, Juliette and Scarlett, have the best imaginations of anyone I know. Playing or creating with them always recharges me and reminds me why I do what I do: so other people can know this joy.
