A Portsmouth, N.H.- based portable storage container company is expanding into Berwick, with the $1.9 million acquisition of two industrial buildings totaling 24,280 square feet at Two Industry Drive.
Andrew Ward and Tim Braseth of Seattle-based Colliers represented the seller, Mick Construction Corp., in the transaction and assisted the buyer, Two Industry Industry Drive LLC.
The deal was partially financed by Strafford Economic Development Corp. of New Hampshire. The property was 76% leased to four tenants at the time of the sale.
“This was a unique opportunity to connect the seller with a buyer who had been searching for just the right fit,” said Ward. “We’d been working with the buyer for several years to find a location that would support the growth of their business, and when this listing came to market, we knew it was a great match for both parties.”
While the property is in Maine, Strafford Economic Development Corp. expects the acquisition to generate economic ripple effects across the border in New Hampshire, with the infrastructure to expand operations and create new employment opportunities throughout the region.
