Craft associations to merge
The Maine Highlands Guild and the Maine Crafts Association yesterday announced they are joining forces, according to a press release. The merger is scheduled to take effect Jan. 1, 2008. The new organization will keep the name Maine Crafts Association and will provide programming and other opportunities to the fine crafts community.
