Lenny Rendell, John Finegan and Justin Laverriere have joined the board of directors of the Maine Real Estate & Development Association, a statewide organization of commercial real estate owners, developers and related service providers.

Lenny Rendell of Gorham is a principal at BerryDunn with 16 years of experience in consulting, compliance, and advisory services, supporting business owners and executives. Rendell has been active on MEREDA’s membership and marketing committee since January 2024.

John Finegan of South Portland is an associate broker at the Boulos Co. and works in all areas of commercial real estate and on ground-up development, with a particular focus on workforce development. He has a strong interest in economic policymaking at the local and state level, and serves as co-chair of MEREDA’s local issues committee.

Justin Laverriere of North Yarmouth is vice president, commercial banking officer at Maine Community Bank and brings expertise in real estate finance along with a strategic approach to comprehensive financial analysis, and specialized transactions including historic tax credit projects and interest rate swap transactions. Laverriere is a member of MEREDA’s conference committee.

Retiring from the board of directors is Craig Young, a broker at the Boulos Co.; Jason Favreau, Certified Public Accountant and principal in BerryDunn’s tax services team; and Matt Early, senior vice president, director of commercial banking at Maine Community Bank.

The organization's current slate of officers are returning for the coming fiscal year: Shannon Richards, who owns Portland- and Rockport-based Hay Runner, will continue as president; Jennifer Small of Malone Commercial Brokers will again serve as vice president and Mark Stasium of Camden National Bank will continue as treasurer. MEREDA Executive Director Shelly Clark will continue to serve as secretary.
