Sprawling Scarborough event venue listed for $2.85M

The Landing, an event venue at 353 Pine Point Road in Scarborough, has been listed for $2.85 million.
A rare commercial property has come on the market in Scarborough — an 11,799-square-foot event venue poised on 3.2 acres overlooking the city’s marshlands, near Pine Point Beach.
Porta & Co. is listing the Landing for $2.85 million.
The Landing at Pine Point is a two-story A-frame located at 353 Pine Point Road, which can accommodate up to 250 guests for dinner and 400 for receptions or corporate events.
In addition to a performance stage, there are private suites and a large stone patio on the grounds.
The building was originally built in 1980 and completely restored in the intervening years. Its commerical kitchen is currently being used by Black Tie Catering which sells a line of prepared foods to local stores.
Broker Mackenzie Simpson said that the current owner, 3 Acquaintances LLC, has had Portland-based Archetype Architects draft plans for potential redevelopment of the property into either a hotel or residential units. The plans aim to give prospective buyers an idea of the building's possibilities.
