The University of New England in Biddeford hired Dawn Stoyanoff as chief information officer. Stoyanoff most recently served as assistant vice president for enterprise applications and services at the University of Chicago.
Freedom Realty in Saco hired Leonard Berube as an associate broker.
Machias Savings Bank hired Tara Perruzzi as a senior vice president for commercial banking in southern Maine.
Lynch Group, a family-owned holding company in Bangor managing several businesses in transportation, logistics, data management and commercial real estate, hired Andrew Lohman as marketing and creative coordinator. Lohman was previously marketing and community relations manager at UCP of Maine.
Maine State Credit Union in Augusta hired Mark O’Donal as vice president and commercial banker for Rockland and the midcoast. Previously, O’Donal was with Camden National Bank.
Animal Welfare Society in Kennebunk hired Heidi Marston as executive director. Most recently, Marston served as director of pet placement initiatives for PetSmart Charities.
Hancock Lumber in Casco hired Tim Bonenfant as general manager in Saco. Bonenfant has 23 years of retail management experience.
N S Giles, a concrete construction company in Bangor, hired Lauren Evans as human resource director.
Whitten Architects in Portland promoted Adam Darter, Ian Parlin and Jesse Patkus to associate.
The University of Maine at Augusta added Justin Chenette, chief communications officer, Sweetser; Mathew Collins, vice president of strategy and partnerships, Andwell Health Partners; TJ Herlihy, financial advisor, Means Wealth Management; Amy Marston, founder, Edison Public Relations; and Angela Oechslie, director for STEM pathways and innovation, Educate Maine, to its board of visitors.
Verrill, a law firm in Portland, said that attorney Anya Endsley was elected as a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. Endsley is vice chair of the firm’s private clients and fiduciary services group.
Island Institute in Rockland added Bob Baines and Pamela Baker-Masson to its board of trustees. Baines farmed kelp for five years and worked as a commercial fisherman for 45 years while Baker-Masson is a communications and marketing executive with 40 years of experience advancing mission-driven organizations.
SKILLS Inc., a social services organization in St. Albans, elected Mary Nadeau as chair of its board of directors. Nadeau, who recently retired as principal of Nokomis Regional High School following a 37-year career in public education as both a teacher and administrator, has served on the board since 2020.
