Police look for robbers who have struck at 4 Portland businesses since Saturday

Portland police are investigating a series of robberies that have targeted businesses in the city since the weekend.

On Wednesday morning, spokesman David Singer said the police department continues to search for robbers in four incidents, believed to be connected. They began Saturday, at 9:45 p.m., with a robbery at CVS Pharmacy at 449 Forest Ave.

On Sunday, police responded to two robberies: at a Walgreen’s pharmacy, at 127 Marginal Way, at 5:50 p.m., and at a Domino’s pizza shop, at 788 Forest Ave., at 8:30 p.m.

On Monday at 9:30 a.m., officers responded to a robbery at a TD Bank, in the Westgate Shopping Center, at 1410 Congress St.

The department did not provide other details or explain why the robberies may be connected.
