Sugarloaf to host U.S. Alpine Championships
The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association plans to host its U.S. Alpine Championships at Sugarloaf in 2015 and 2017.
The Maine Public Broadcasting Network reported the event will rotate between Sugarloaf in Carrabassett Valley and Sun Valley, Idaho, from 2015 through 2018. Sun Valley will host the event in 2016 and 2018.
The AP reported the last time Sugarloaf hosted a national alpine championship was in 2008.
