Town & Shore Real Estate said its first charity event, held on Sept. 24 at Camp Pennant on Portland’s waterfront, raised $7,500 for Full Plates Full Potential, a Maine-based nonprofit dedicated to ending childhood food insecurity.

The event featured Portland’s Hearts of Pine Soccer Club, food and drinks and a raffle that included a game ball signed by all of the Hearts of Pine players and four tickets to a game.

“Full Plates Full Potential is making a real difference in the lives of Maine children, and we are honored to contribute to their important work,” said Pete Molloy, associate broker and owner of Town & Shore.

Full Plates, Full Potential works to strengthen child nutrition. With one in five Maine children facing food insecurity, the funds raised will help expand access to healthy meals and nutrition programs across the state.
