With about a month to go until the 25th Maine Family Business Awards, a record 25 finalists from industries from hospitality to construction are in the running for seven awards.
The Institute for Family-Owned Business said it received more 505 nominations this year, which it whittled down to 44 semifinalists before picking 25 finalists, listed below. The Portland-based trade association is led by Executive Director Catherine Wygant Fossett, who was honored as a Mainebiz Woman to Watch in 2024.
All family-owned businesses headquartered in Maine are eligible for consideration.
