Bar Harbor Bank & Trust has hired Leah Peabody as vice president and mortgage loan originator in the bank's Bangor branch, where she will work with clients in Penobscot and Kennebec counties.
Peabody has more than 25 years of experience as a mortgage loan officer. She started her career in 1999 as a mortgage loan consultant with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
Before joining Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, she served as a vice president and mortgage loan officer at Bangor Savings Bank.
She has also worked as a realtor and a title abstractor. Peabody received her associate's degree in office management from Beal College.
