Atlantic Federal Credit Union has hired Ross Barnard as its
new mortgage development officer. In the role, Ross will strengthen referral relationships and support homebuyers throughout the mortgage process.
Before joining the bank, Barnard worked was a loan officer at Leader Bank in Massachusetts, where he started as an intern. He received his degree in international relations from Syracuse University.
Maine Savings Federal Credit Union has promoted Lee-Anne Storen to senior vice president of consumer lending. She joined the bank 22 years ago and has continuously advanced through the organization.
She has held roles in loan operations from manager to assistant vice president, vice president and now senior vice president. She also leads the loan operations team, which includes underwriting and processing, loan servicing and credit resolutions.
Machias Savings approved four new corporators at its annual meeting. The newly named corporators are Pete Klein, Justin King, Edward Hensen and Nick Ireland.
Pete Klein is a shareholder at Drummond Woodsum. He represents banks and developers in commercial finance and real estate development, with a focus on projects utilizing historic and low-income housing tax credits.
Justin King is the founder and president of King Construction Services, based in Downeast Maine. He also co-owns IMK Properties LLC, a real estate development company that manages more than 40 apartment units across Washington County.
Edward Hansen recently returned to Maine after seven years in Sweden, where he served as global director of product management for a major international industrial company. He is now focused on building NordHavn, a sustainable real estate and hospitality brand.
Nick Ireland is the chief financial officer of Seven Islands Land Company in Bangor. With over two decades of experience in public accounting and financial leadership, Ireland has served as CFO for several major forest products companies operating across Maine and Canada.
