The Greater Portland Board of Realtors announced that its president, Aaron Chadbourne, was selected to join the National Association of Realtors 2026 leadership academy.
The academy identifies and prepares rising volunteer leaders from across the country for future leadership roles in the trade association.
“The leadership academy reflects NAR’s commitment to empowering our members and ensuring the future of our association is shaped by leaders who reflect the strength and diversity of our profession,” said Kevin Sears, president of the national trade group.
Chadbourne was one of 20 Realtors nationwide chosen for the 2026 class.
Over the course of 10 months, participants will engage in learning experiences designed to strengthen leadership skills, deepen understanding of NAR’s structure and prepare them to serve at every level of the organization. The program starts in January.
“There has never been a more important time to invest in the future of our industry as we navigate the challenges of homeownership in this country,” said Chadbourne.
