Local, national gas prices remain steady
Gas prices in the state of Maine remain unchanged over the last week, as the average price for a gallon of gas stayed at $2.27.
In the week ending Tuesday morning, the average national price for a gallon of gas dropped by a single penny to $2.22, according to the price-tracking website Gasbuddy.
The $2.27 statewide average in Maine is higher than New Hampshire's $2.18, but lower than Vermont's price per gallon average of $2.28.
