ImmuCell sales, earnings up

ImmuCell Corp., in Portland, today announced a slight increase in revenue and net income in 2007.

In the 12 months through Dec. 31, 2007, ImmuCell's net income increased from $647,000 to $662,000, according to a company press release. The earnings bump is due in part to $602,000 ImmuCell received when drug maker Pfizer ended an existing product development deal. The company's product sales in 2007 jumped $466,000 to just less than $4.8 million, according to the release.
